What do the “Syndicate This Blog”, “RSS”, and “XML” link in the top right hand corner of this page mean?
This is your way of being kept up-to-date with our latest entries without having to join our mailing list. The link means that an entry description or headline for each new blog entry we make is made available for others to use on their websites, or to access through a newsfeed reader program. Therefore, instead of checking the site once in a while to see if there is a recent entry, you can use a newsfeed reader program that will refresh when a new entry is added.
How to add SNC Destinations RSS feed, or syndicate this blog
One option is to install a news reader that displays RSS feeds from the Web sites you select, enabling you to view hundreds of headlines at once! After installing the news reader, you can add each feed manually from the Web site by clicking on the “Syndicate this blog” or the “XML” orange button next to the feed, then copying the URL, as it appears in the URL window, to the news reader.
Of course, an alternative to downloading a dedicated news reader is to use a Web-based news reader. For example, My Yahoo! and My MSN users are able to add RSS feeds directly to their personal page.
So go ahead, syndicate this blog.
